I Need To Get Some Good Quality Film Editing Software.

I have been thinking about getting myself some good quality film editing software so I can polish up my small documentaries. I know that there are a lot of different ones out there so it is kind of hard choosing which one to go with. I have even seen some freeware editing software that looks really good but I keep thinking that you can’t really get something good if it is free. However since it is free I guess I really wouldn’t be out anything if I gave it a try.
