In many countries today, people are often not allowed to drive unless they have purchased an auto insurance policy and there are required levels of auto insurance coverage that need to be met. In most cases, it will be just 3rd party but you will find it in your best interest to upgrade your policy to better levels of coverage or take on other policies that provide you with more than just 3rd party insurance.
