In California recently, the state's highest court heard more than 3 1/2 hours of arguments on the constitutionality of a law prohibiting homosexual marriage. Gay rights advocates see this as a long time coming, and it may down the road help gay couples wishing to obtain a marriage visa in California, among other advancements for gay couples.
