I came across a type of loan I am not familiar with on the website of one of the mortgage services companies, a balloon mortgage. What exactly is a balloon mortgage, and how does it work? Where can I find out more about this type of mortgage? I want to make sure I am familiar with all of the different options so that I make the best decision for myself when I finally get around to buying a new house.
