An electric towel warmer is a great gift for an elderly relative.
November 20th, 2007 | by admin |I work in a personal care home. I assist the elderly with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and taking medications. No matter how warm it is in the building or outside, the residents of the home are always cold. Even when it is ninety degrees outside, they will have their heaters on in their rooms and they will wear sweaters. A lot of the residents try to avoid bathing or showering. They want to be clean, but they complain that the air is too cold. One woman no longer gives me a hassle on her designated shower days. Her daughter bought her an electric towel warmer. We place her towel on the device and plug it in before she gets into the shower. By the time she is finished showering, the towel is warm.
