You don't have to visit a beauty parlor or the makeup counter of a department store. I'm talking about your kitchen. All you have to do is visit the housewares section of your favorite retail store. Grab some new curtains, rugs, and towels. Pick up a gallon of paint and a roller. You don't have to call a contractor, rip out your cabinets, or tear up your floors to give your kitchen a whole new look.
