Using a Japanese Soaking Tub
December 20th, 2008 | by admin |In America we tend to think of a bath tub as a place to take a bath, wash up and at times a place to soak in a bubble bath to relieve the aches and pains of our tired bodies. In Japan they have a whole other use for the “tub”, a place to soak only. The Japanese Soaking Tub is essentially where you go after you wash up not before, and they do not put soap or bubbles, or anything like that in their tubs. The soaking tub is a way to relax and is actually quite beneficial to the skin and muscles.
