The Benefits of affordable Health care plans

Finding affordable health care in America is getting harder that is why employing certain preventive measures to avoid illness is important like having  water filter.  Accountants in many companies have been told to cut expenditure and have used the rising cost of providing employee health care as a reason to cut back services. This situation happened to me not that long ago at the company I work for when every employee's health benefits were reduced. Last fall, out of the blue, we were informed that our health care provider was going to be switched to a cheaper alternative.The excuse was that they were trying to ensure the new package would help everyone in the company. Many people I've spoken to are happy with the new insurance and that I am just as well provided for. It's not that I'm against other workers getting a good deal but they are now taking twice the amount out of my salary so that my husband and daughter are covered. Other than a few exceptions, everyone else seems to benefit from this new arrangement but because I haven't had a raise but I am taking a great deal less home so my family can have health cover. I suppose my health care plan is still good but this new company is not as good as the old one. In my opinion, the company's search for affordable health care not only left all of us with a significant cut in our paychecks, but higher co-pays and more out-of-pockets expenses from us. It makes more sense when you realize just how good the old policy was because I didn't pay cent when I stayed in hospital 2 years ago giving birth to my daughter. Working out that same stay with the new plan would mean approximately 4,000 dollars would have to be paid by me.Keep in mind that although I would have to pay hospital fees, there is also the small matter of my co-pays as well. There is obviously a market for these schemes because more and more affordable health care options are becoming available. For workers in companies without health care plans and single mums for instance, this is a God send. The problem is when a small number of people take advantage of a system that was designed for those that needed it most.Those less well off are in need of these affordable health care schemes but they are also used by those who are intent on living of the state and do not actually contribute to society. I get annoyed because it's the upright taxpayer who has to finance these schemes for the needy and not the state. By switching providers, it was my company that realized the true advantages of this low cost option and a number of employees. Having a reduced income seems to be the result of these work changes with only the company truly benefiting. Providing health care which is affordable for Americans needs to be dealt with sooner rather than later.
